In order to emphasise the simple mechanism of Masterpass QR App, users were invited to drag a phone over a barcode to 'complete' a payment. By actioning the campaign message directly on a mobile engagement, the brand created a micro-moment with a powerful message, simply by asking audiences to participate and engage.

For the launch of the new Masterpass QR app, MasterCard set a challenge to educate customers about this new and convenient payment method, in a simple and quick manner designed for short mobile moments.
