Users are invited to engage with brand messaging by tapping “play game” to start the quiz “Queen or Screen?” Once the user opts-in, six pictures of Queen are randomized, and the user’s knowledge is tested as they select whether the image displayed is of legendary frontman, Freddie Mercury, and the band Queen, or of Rami Malek and the cast from the film Bohemian Rhapsody.
20th Century Fox partnered with Adludio to increase awareness and drive home entertainment sales for the musical biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, with the focus being on messaging that resonated with Queen fans and music enthusiasts aged 25-54 throughout the US. This campaign was split into two bursts, with the first highlighting the digital release, shortly followed by the physical Blu-Ray/DVD release.
